Very grateful to not have "Six Hours a Day of [Preferred Cable News Network]" parents and rather "The Nerdiest Possible Medical Docuseries, Preferably British, Unless There's a New Season of Ted Lasso" parents
If you’re looking for something to watch as the weather cools down, The New Yorker has you covered with Your Parents’ Fall TV Preview!

Have you considered “Six Hours a Day of MSNBC” on MS NOW (or Fox News, depending on your specific parents)?

Family is also suing Ken Paxton and Texas hospital officials under federal civil rights law section 1983—the Ku Klux Klan Act.

Defendants "deprived" Tierra of her right to life under the 14th Amendment ... "the fundamental right to life does not cease to exist simply because a person is pregnant."

Good. Preeclampsia seems like an especially dangerous condition to have in Texas: it’s manageable until it very suddenly really, really isn’t. I went from “early rupture, negative for preeclampsia” to “baby’s gotta come out right the fuck now” in the span of a week. I can 100% see how this happened.

"FABMs may also be more effective than many people believe—but they can also be very unforgiving of user error" is an extremely good summary of FABMs lol
The Trump administration is promoting fertility awareness-based methods of birth control over all others.

The antidote to the administration’s disinformation about contraceptives, experts say, isn’t to demonize FABMs—it’s to offer accurate information and support to people interested in using them.
Right-Wingers Love Fertility Awareness. Reproductive Health Advocates Need To Stop Dismissing It.
Disparaging fertility tracking goes against the values of reproductive justice, and could send people into the arms of MAHA.

I'm sorry, but you are going to have to tell people ST is right on this one. For real! There was a measure a few years ago when a lefty friend ended up voting in support of a conservative ballot item just because ST was against it. 😂 They just assumed they should vote opposite of the ST Ed Board.
Broken clock is right: the Seattle Times endorses NO on the ridiculous attack on trans kids. WA has had policies allowing kids to play the sport they identify with for nearly 20 years. It's worked out fine. Vote NO on I-638.

If this were a “Washington problem“ it would be worth studying as a pressing issue to be resolved by the electorate, informed with science. But it is not.
