Juarez and Rivera both exited the council meeting immediately before the vote for the resolution against Heywood's anti-trans initiative. Juarez was videoconferencing in from home, so god only knows why she felt compelled to leave.

Tom was there when ECS was ejected from BC Place the first day we raised the “Anti-Fascist | Anti-Racist | Always Seattle” banner. Tom was in the matchday trenches and at the table in Las Vegas when we fought the league to allow the Iron Front anti-fascist flag to fly.

It makes me so sad to see this name tied to such tragic news. I didn't know Tom Biro personally but I see that name and feel such a fond familiarity because he's one of those names I've seen sharing and loving Needling posts for such a long time. This man really loved and supported his community.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of former ECS co-president Tom Biro.
