Throwing billions in public money behind a pipeline at a time of climate breakdown – while sweeping aside environmental protections, meaningful Indigenous consultation and workers’ right to strike – is absolutely not in the national interest.

Carney tells us that among the criteria for a project being designated in the national interest, the major projects office considers whether the project “contributes to Canadas clean growth and climate goals.”

And a BITUMEN PIPELINE PASSED THIS TEST?

Then the test is bullshit.

Finally updated a small project I did for tabulating charging sessions.

Originally, I was using external provider's for login (Google and Github). The last few days, I was able to get Atmosphere accounts to be an accepted login method.

Would be curious if anyone can try it at tabev.org

A truly heinous man has doxxed the Cornell victim on X and the comments are predictably vile. Based on countless interviews I’ve done with survivors, the trauma they are subjected to for coming forward is oftentimes even worse than the initial trauma they experienced. Apparently the definition of national interest doesn't include the wellbeing of the people of our nation, only the profit potential of foreign corporations.

CATL supplied the cells for the world’s first large-scale battery energy storage project. Fourteen years later, not one of them has been replaced.

Things are getting so interesting on the Atmosphere!
Wow, no way!

I just installed the @atpassport.net Firefox extension and managed to log into a website using FedCM in Firefox using my own PDS.

This is insane, I had no idea this was possible at all, and gives a whole opportunity for us to implement FedCM in Firefox (and maybe even Safari?).

My question about the disconnect between Carney’s rhetoric and his actual policies is this:

If he stands by his agenda and thinks Canadians will accept what he’s doing, why does he feel the need to try to mislead us about the actual impacts of his policies?
I’ve noticed there seems to be a disconnect between what people understand Carney to be doing and what his policies actually do in practice.

And I think I know why.

Rather than telling you, I’m going to show you:
