Look, I am absolutely here for sex scenes with imperfections, comedy moments, and non-purple prose. I think a bit of relatable realism can totally ground a romance!

Also, I may as well say that I don't think it's possible to only watch films that align with my every belief. That's not the point. My issue is that the classic film fandom will frequently silence discussions of problematic older entertainment, circle wagons around certain films and actors, etc.

Had a letter last week from the water company, saying there's a problem with our direct debit & they're not able to take the payments but they can't tell us what the problem is because of "data protection".
