"A Year at the Movies: One Man's Filmgoing Odyssey" is an incredible book by Kevin Murphy of @rifftrax.com fame, a beautiful and intelligent account of a year of daily moviegoing. Because the year was 2001, it is a stark account of our culture shift.

The first cycle of my class on game writing was a fever dream. I spent a year or so developing a method to teach all kinds of game writing in one portfolio project, then I had a six-week long panic.

I’ve been doing some writing on the one coming out soon. The storytellers on this title are so good (not just me ☺️). I love going through the editor just reading their work.

Concept art showing the daily lives of Romans in Anno 117: Pax Romana is amazing, even showing statues being painted. But look at the graffiti they chose to show, it has to be a reference to the OG Pompeiian depiction of Rufus!

I found a farm near my new German home. There are vending machines there for eggs, ice cream, oil, vinegar, pasta, dried fruit, potatoes, and other oddities.
