I'm not usually in a pub on my own on a Saturday before 5pm, but when I am it's because I've been digging on my allotment for over four hours and I've earned every drop of this pint of a Guinness Extra Cold.

So it turns out the "arthritis" in my right knee was actually caused by my habit of sitting at my desk and absent-mindedly pushing my knee against the pedestal, and it was rectified by simply fitting a pipe insulator over the protruding corner.
