Work requirements … for … (*checks notes*) Social Security.

M'kay.
🚨NEWS: Vivek Ramaswamy states he would vote to "significantly constrain and attach work requirements to most of the welfare state," explicitly highlighting Social Security and Medicaid.

I was running a polling place in Virginia in 2018(?) when three men in suits walked up to me and identified themselves as observers from the OSCE. They were two members of the Swedish Parliament from opposing parties and their driver/interpreter.

Trump on 9/11: "I just thank my people. I was building a big building in New York & I took the whole crew down there right after this happened & they had no hesitation. Everybody went down with me... we thought it was coming down on top of us... two fireman lifted me up and started running with me"

Everyday this President isn't thrown out of office is an indictment against the American people.
The 25th Amendment exists for a reason.

I feel sick to my stomach waiting around to see what atrocity Trump has in mind for the people of Iran this evening. It's hard to fathom our other elected leaders aren't able to check him in any meaningful way. It's an indictment not just of voters but of our whole system. We're ruled by a mad king.

It’s striking that we’ve treated political leaders on right as principled opposition with just a different view of how things ought to be.

When what these people really are—and have always been—is a gang of power-hungry fascists who care nothing about anything except power.

The people who spent years defending and even lionizing Kyle Rittenhouse and Ashli Babbitt now want us to believe that an unarmed mother in her car and a disarmed nurse were domestic terrorists who deserved to be murdered by law enforcement.

Here’s the fallacy of Tillis’s plan-

A. it will be too late
B. Trump will ignore it

We have passed all this a mile back.

The only way you can reign in Trump is to impeach him, convict him, and remove him- which is something Congress had an obligation to do a long time ago.

Call Congress now.

If a few GOP members of Congress simply publicly announced that they'd support impeachment if this idiot attacks NATO they'd stand a good chance of reigning him in and reassuring our allies.

The GOP could put a stop to this anytime if they wanted to.
Q: The premier of Greenland said today, 'We prefer to stay with Denmark.'

TRUMP: Who said that?

Q: The premier of Greenland

TRUMP: Well, that's their problem. I disagree with him. I don't know who he is. Don't know anything about him. But that's gonna be a big problem for him.

Really feels like just telling military to draw up plans to invade an ally should be an impeachable offense regardless of party
