We already live in the world where only cis teens can take puberty blockers.

Cis people availing of treatments that are denied to trans people isn't some massive glaring inconsistency in their worldview. It's banal cissexism, denying us the means to change sex because we're viewed as lesser.
Absolutely begging cis people to knock this shit off. "HUR HUR SIUNDS LIKE GENDER AFFIRMING CARE TO ME!"

Shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up. STOP I hate mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmjmmmmmmmmmm

I assume anyone who points out how small the trans population is doesn’t know any trans people & I guess that’s what it takes to care? Because if you know even ONE trans person, like a person in your life, how can you think about that person and conclude it’s okay if they get thrown under the bus?

It isn't explicit, but we've seen this pattern before.

1) Black Americans are twice as likely to get Alzheimer's
2) Scientists want to study Black communities to figure out why and what insights this has for treatment/cause
3) Trump people cut the program, most likely because they think it's DEI.

"We nearly did 99 Luftballoons with AI" is a great illustration of the actual danger, not that it's going to think for itself and go rogue but that it's a million miles away from that level of sophistication and people are still this eager to outsource human decisions to it

At the end of the day, beyond the hatefulness, he's really just a spectacularly dumb guy. Like I'm not sure he's achieved object permanence yet. He has to be reminded which hole the food goes in. His internal monologue is the sound of one hand clapping. He calls electrical sockets "finger zappers."
Q: China is one of the most repressive countries for journalists in the world--

TRUMP: Well, I don't know about that. I think we're repressive also

Alito is not the only Republican justice who has embraced this disturbing rhetoric in recent years. It is instructive to break down what they are saying: we shouldn't count all the votes, because some segment of the electorate would become angry that their preferred candidate didn't win.
i'm not over Alito saying we shouldn't count ballots that are mailed on or before Election Day but arrive shortly afterwards bc they can “radically flip” the “apparent outcome”

cannot stress enough that, until all ballots are counted, there's no outcome to flip!
