I tried to Shazam a song while in my dream but it turns out the song doesn’t exist. Now that I’m awake, I can’t remember the song. Does that count as a nightmare?

Um... so today I was on @cbsmornings.bsky.social. 🤯
I talked to Jericka Duncan about why Black women matter to our economy. CBS called me a "Harvard Economist" (bruh). And Gayle King read my book, #TheDoubleTax. I'm in disbelief.
Here's a clip from our segment. #blacksky #news #jobs

ICE agent asked why he's taking pictures of a legal observer's car, replies: "Cuz we have a nice little database and now you're considered a domestic terrorist. So have fun with that."

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.
This could be you.
This could be you.

One of my favorite film moments. Lost Highway by David Lynch. A classic. If you haven’t seen it, definitely give it a watch.

I noticed whenever a show/movie decides to have these quiet, introspective moments like in Eternals, The Acolyte, or even Andor, that’s when people decide to call it “slow” or poorly written. It’s like no, you’ve just conditioned yourself to see action moments as the only valid thing.

THE ACOLYTE update: finished. Loved it. Wildly relatable portrayal of three different religious cults, IMPECCABLE writing, all the tragic resonance of the best STAR WARS movies (ESB, ROTS, TLJ) without the unevenness that faults 2 out of the 3. Ought to have been the Movie 1 in a major trilogy.

It’s official: AIPAC is trying to buy my election to keep me out of Congress.
Apparently, I’m a “dangerous detractor”... by believing Palestinians (like myself and my family) deserve basic human rights.
But we’re not going to let AIPAC win.
