did McSweeney even win in the end? discredited, resigned, his candidate hated and his programme for government dissolved on contact with reality. feels like empty gloating from Langleben, who failed to report islamophobia in his CLP

From the late 90s to 00s era of "being as racist as Bernard Manning and punching down like hell but pretending it's actually something else entirely" comedy that saw rampant bigotry from people who love blackface etc etc
Given his other satirical characters are:
• poor Muslim man who has sex with his sister and is virulently antisemitic
• flamboyant gay man
• ambiguously Arab dictator
• poor slob from the East Midlands

It’s pretty clear his satire is not much more than a posh boy saying “hahaha look at this freak”

Zionist Jo Coburn used to be the face of BBC political broadcasting having worked for the state propagandist across three decades. A self-selecting organisation.
Is it racist, though? If the statement is so outrageous, you’d think it would be very simple to rebut. And yet, nobody has tried: they just point and screech like Donald Sutherland in Bodysnatchers, and never address the question. I wonder why nobody wants to do that?

Based on last winter (Nov 25-Feb 26) that's an extra £15.38 per A&E visit. After nearly 2 decades of cuts. Odds on it turns out this money is taken from the existing budget too. Labour is so awful.

Again, transphobia is, 100% of the time, the wedge issue that cracks open all the fash shit these people have swimming in their heads anyway.
Fairly open racism and far right talking points from someone who is, last time I checked, a Conservative peer.

They’re deliberately associating our existence with sexual violence to make people see us as threats instead of human beings. Cis allies, please stop waiting for things to get worse before you speak up. We need solidarity NOW. 🏳️‍⚧️🖤
"being trans is inherently the same as being a rapist" "these are all sexual deviants we must be protected against"
cis folks do you see it yet. these people are going to fucking kill us. fucking help

The world's most incestous country
Interviewing a govt minister Hazarika shows a graph comparing young people claiming PIP to the size of our armed forces & declares it "tells a story about modern Britain"

I can't even make a sarcastic comment about our fearless fourth estate, because Hazarika is a Labour politician

Labour is a genocidal party for genocidal people.
It’s helpful to have an actual Labour MP saying right out that it’s not what transgender people do or say that is the problem: it’s their presence that she objects to, their existence. Yes, this is what it always was, and these people just keep winding each other up and up to ever more extreme views
labour mp clarifies: yes, trans people must be banned from hospitals

Being GenX/Millennial is such a trip. In our lifetimes, we saw people our age getting wild criminal penalties for pirating music and now have to sit and watch as companies gobble up our work with impunity.
Still trying to understand how Napster got shut down, but Anthropic is going public and still hasn’t paid us authors yet after stealing our work.

Palestinians have expressed their support for the Greens after the party adopted an anti-Zionist stance, saying it was 'obvious' the ideology was 'racism' 👇

really undermines the constant pitches from Caroline Lucas, Adrian Ramsay etc that 'GPEW was better when we were in charge' that the substance of the pitch is basically 'the Labour Party in 2026 is morally superior to us'.

Also the whole tiny party no votes when they were in charge thing
