Ian McKellan's Richard III is one of my favorite Shakespeare films ever. It's so incredibly 1990s and McKellan is completely over the top and clearly having the time of his life. It's so underrated, and it's sad that it's largely forgotten now.

Look, I'm pretty far left policy wise. Medicare for All, Schengen for North America, reparations for slavery, tax the rich until they collapse into weeping piles of gray-green ooze, etc.
