Hi active travel fans.

Please help by supporting the extension of Cycleway 9 from Syon to Hounslow.

Cycleway 9 has been transformative for families in Chiswick, Hammersmith and Brentford.

Let’s bring that love to more Hounslow families!

I see a lot of people complaining about the undoubtedly stressful conditions at present on London's roads.
But I see few people complaining about motor vehicles.
Yet in the last 24 hours three vulnerable road users have died after being hit by people driving motor vehicles.

World Car-Free Day is celebrated every year on 22nd September.

For me, cycling is more than just a way to get around it gives me the freedom to explore, discover new places.

So, why not leave the car behind, get on your bike, and discover where the road takes you? Every ride makes a difference!

Worrying scenes in the Channel today, for all interested in asylum policy and maritime tactics.

A small boat from Normandy spent more than 30 hours at sea. Those on board now on their 2nd rescue vessel as Border Force forced to play cat and mouse with far-right activists who have their own boat.

I've signed, because I want more people to feel safe cycling for transport.

Too many people want to cycle more, but don't feel safe doing so.
Busy traffic, harassment and unsafe routes can leave women feeling that the streets they ride on are ‘Not Designed For Me’.

That needs to change!

🧵 Why is national cycle route #NCN4 on a shared-use pavement along Chelsea Embankment in #RBKC?

Well, #RBKC chose the shared-use pavement in Dec'1999 to prevent the nascent Greater London Authority GLA building a proper cycle lane on the forthcoming red-route.

The newly elected Wandsworth Council is removing protective cycling infrastructure as it tries to address Putney's congestion issues - we don't think this is the solution. Londoners are more likely to cycle instead of drive when they feel safe on the roads.

Last day to respond to the Fleet St consultation!!

Option 1 will help reduce traffic and make the area more welcoming and safer for people cycling 🙂 - but would like to see the westbound uphill cycle track segregated.

Option 2 is not a serious proposal!? 🙄
