Celebrating Dad’s 95th bday eating sushi and watching NFL. Don’t take any of it for granted.
Pro tip: if you can’t find a 95th bday card, etiquette says just add card # s together. My Dad has a great sense of humor, loved my joke about the bonus cognitive test (maze) inside the 5th card.

Tonight made Chili Crisp Fried Rice, first time this type, from cookbook Chili Crisp by James Park (2023) 🍜🍽️ #homecooking
Taken better fried rice pics, but AT LEAST 5X better texture (all credit: recipe) than previous attempts. Coating rice in egg yolk+sauce before sautéing works. And so flavorful.
