Ok fine, it’s a big group shot but it’s their first cover! In (adjectiveless) X-Men #126 (2002) #GlobHerman #XMen
* I’m pretty sure this is true, didn’t check all X-titles. #119 has a wide shot with lots of characters but my old eyes didn’t spot Glob

Mix it myself and learned the hard way that you need to use raw (not toasted) sesame seeds if you’re putting it on a bagel and baking it. So now, two versions:

It’s the main reason I started making bagels from scratch a few years ago. So I could have one when the craving struck w/out leaving the house.

Pro tip: if you can’t find a 95th bday card, etiquette says just add card # s together. My Dad has a great sense of humor, loved my joke about the bonus cognitive test (maze) inside the 5th card.

As always: first shake of the day, first 10 shakes, no cheating.

Going with the full 22 issues of FOOM, Marvel’s 1970’s fanzine. Besides a certain long X-title, the hardest run for me to complete. Took 4-5 yrs, prob 2/3 found in the wild.

To return the favor, not long ago read The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo. About a woman living in Madrid during the Inquisition, with understated witch like powers. Excellent

Yes, every episode of Stuart Fails To Save The Universe. But… I appreciate the running gag of hiding Marvel/X-Men things in the comic shop background even though it’s an HBO/DCU adjacent show.
We’re so close to Dark Claw in this scene!!!

Should have gotten a brick of havarti, but no pre planning so I’ll savor this one with the tiny-ish amount of havarti. Next time will broil the bread on its own longer for crispy bread.

Love your posts and hope to visit the store one day. My Dad got me into map collecting. Fav is 1843 S. Augustus Mitchell, National Map of the American Republic. I’m terrible at taking pics, but colors are not faded at all - must’ve been in a drawer.

I’m def using the pineapple rain option, which kind of sounds like a Justin Timberlake song.
