Asked the barista why they’re using cheap oat milk. He said: “Because Oatly is expensive.” Interesting “expensive” only matters when they are buying. Paid £1 for 100ml of oat milk and still got the Aldi vibes. (4.50£ for coffee) Alternative milk surcharge scam needs council-level intervention. ☕️

My 3rd time in #Lisbon, after a decade. The city, people, fabric the same. The city I was born in #Turkey grew from 400K to 2.5M in 30 years. Everything was demolished,replaced by malls, blocks. What remained became unrecognizable.Not just cities destroyed and looted,the country’s memory was erased.

We’re used to getting ripped off in London, but this is a new level of daylight robbery. The Empress pub in Victoria Park Village added £1.50 to our bill for two slices of lime. With service fee, that’s £1.87. Repeating, FOR TWO SLICES OF LIME!

All streaming platforms have become such a mess that I just cancelled my Netflix, Disney+, WOW and Now TV subscriptions. The only one left is Apple TV+, and that’s just because it’s free. For now.

I think #KeirStarmer has been tasked by the far-right to finish off the #LabourParty. After what he has done and said it is inconceivable that anyone in their right mind would vote for him. I think Labour needs to get this idiot out of the party as soon as possible.
