The thing about noted racist Bret Stephens is that he's demonstrating one of the most common experiences of american racism, the idea that the very presence of non-white people is a failure of policy, that no matter how qualified someone is they could not have earned their spot, that it's cheating.

Every new Fetterman pants-shitting is treated as evidence that he is now a bad person. But long before this & long before his stroke, he chased an unarmed Black jogger in his truck, detained him with a shotgun, and continued to insist he had done the right thing. That somehow wasn’t disqualifying.
