What if Kier Starmer was the leader we needed to get labour sorted out a, into power and with a massive majority and to start the change. He has done that job BUT not every leader suits every context maybe with his support the next phase follows and succeeds where he could not .

Increasingly I think we fight the fall of democracy by letting the elders lose.. be proud what a dad !
TFW when your 82-year-old Midwestern dad can’t take your call because he’s too busy organzing against ICE.

First they came for the women now they come for the comedians …. We know where this ends..
The Department of Homeland Security has circulated a “Be on the Lookout” alert to law enforcement nationwide, targeting a comedian whose satire of US immigration enforcement went viral, @aurabogado.bsky.social of @injusticewatch.org reports.
US homeland security put out alert on comedian who created parody ICE tip website
DHS issued ‘Bolo’ for Ben Palmer, whose videos of calls with members of the public who thought they were reporting immigrants went viral

Indeed - and every time it needs calling out but the trouble is so many people are so tired of him the ignoring enables him
That is an appalling post. He may be mad but that is beyond the pale - as with his whole sorry little life.

Everything he does offends me as a Christian
Wow. If I were a religious person I think this may offend me 🤔
But here we are 😒
In case you’re wondering, this is a real post.

It’s a brain wiring ting we are wired to look out for others first and so we are a tuned to transport, travel, pushchairs, dogs, kids walking, elders out or school times etc

We will look back on this and be awarding leadership prizes to Starmer and Spanish premier.
Au contraire. Starmer's conduct during the Iran debacle has been not a lot of mouth and plenty of trousers.
Unlike some.

The old orange man can rage truth all he likes - UK people strongly behind Starmer - we wont be bullied & we wont join in….
Just go take the oil. Bonkers. And by the way ask US Airlines how plentiful and cheap Jet Fuel is here - it just doubled in price

No one talks about the energy cost of data centres in a new IRAN energy constrained world
The coming AI backlash:

1. Data centers - already hugely unpopular - will become almost impossible to greenlight
2. Elite schools will make a no AI pledge (we will make little Johnny learn how to think on his own)
3. Corporations will make "AI will not take your job pledges"
March 18, 2026 at 2:37 PM
And when i blog on LinkedIn I already state this is my own work NO AI used - people will know form my dsylexic grammar anyway!!
5. Entertainment- both books and video - will be billed as AI free
6. As will your email.

He is calm, dull, boring and a man who infuriates orange face by consulting his cabinet & actually believes in UK democracy and sovereignty. Just the man of the moment me thinks …
Thank God Starmer is in charge, really. If it had been any of his immediate predecessors, we'd currently be at war with Iran, playing lapdog to a deranged US administration, unable to say what we were doing or why.

This is incredibly helpful as we are likely to have super hot summer and also I fear there maybe energy black outs due to gulf situ. we are os much more dependent of electric now than 70s for computers and phones to stay connected with all our services.
This is cool. The Government is set to allow plug-in solar, low cost solar panels that families can buy at supermarkets and put on their balconies or outdoor space.

"In Germany over a million have been sold, helping households with energy costs and reducing dependence on fossil fuels."

Many of us in UK see right through this - Blair trying to assuage the guilt of being the former USA president poodle in the gulf… we remember too well
The gulf between what people think of Tony Blair commenting on war in the Middle East & what Tony Blair thinks people think of Tony Blair commenting on war in the Middle East is positively Badenochian.
March 8, 2026 at 1:01 PM
And today we have 4 super bombers arrive at Fairford - cant believe good will come of this over weekend
A little bit obsessed with all the nut clusters currently ‘ashamed to be British’ because Starmer didn’t sign us up to this shit show.
March 7, 2026 at 12:36 PM
I was thinking the same for my blogs - start them with “you know this is me because my grammar and spelling aren’t great” - no AI here only human Brain!
Considering forcing all my systems to stop auto-correcting -- into — just so people know it’s me who is typing.

Crazy idea - if war was coming and we dont want the chaos reported by goodWP journalists who know and are in region….. might we cancel early? asking for a friend
As the laid off Middle East News Editor, I concur. Management eliminated the positions of every single staff correspondent and bureau chief in the Middle East.
I have to say the Post chose a hell of a moment to lay off all their foreign correspondents

Year of fire horse going well….
Enjoy that & maybe buy some Uk stocks meanwhile as orange face and whisky boy have just tanked our economic projections here - ok we were tinkering along the bottom but paying down national debt and starting to get traction on BREXIT was stupid but now!!
March 3, 2026 at 2:22 PM
ordinary people are chessed off-its clear they will vote angry REFORM - “everyone else’s fault” or we vote Plumber to fix the leak and plaster the wall when finished! Labour stop listening to the rascists - stand for the plumbers and plasterers and the rest of us sick of misery- lets get hope back.
Sums
Keir Starmer is visiting Gorton and Denton today, calling it a "straight fight between Labour and Reform."

This is not something parties do unless they are confident of winning. So Labour either believe they have it in the bag, or someone has their sums wrong.
February 27, 2026 at 7:56 AM
It’s always someone else’s fault now they are after Jack!!
There’s losing the plot and then there’s this
Fox News is mad that Jack Nicholson's character was portrayed as the bad guy in "A Few Good Men," citing it as the start of the downfall of "masculinity" in America.

"They villified him! Right there's where Hollywood started this."

"Now there's too few good men! That's the problem!"
February 20, 2026 at 3:30 PM
Lesson 1 in democracy - it’s not about the “right people” voting its everyone gets to vote ad every voice counts.
Everything is fine
Kristi Noem: "When it gets to Election Day, we've been proactive to make sure we have the right people voting, electing the right leaders to lead this country."
