Although I'm not really fan of the original anime, I love how the One Piece flag is showing up at protests. It's both light hearted and meaningful, like the way people reclaimed frogs for the left by wearing those inflatable costumes

Thousands turned out for the March4Democracy rally that took place on the National Mall, followed by a march to Lafayette Park near the White House. Great crowd with tons of creativity, enthusiasm and determination.

When this ICE shit started, a mutual I’d never met asked how to help. I sent him to a friend’s kid’s preschool that was struggling to find patrollers. He’s been there almost daily, even in brutal cold, at a school where he didn’t know anyone, to keep folks safe. We finally met and got beers tonight.

Getting twitchy reading about regime change takes. Regime change is basically impossible without committing ground forces, which are not in the area. You cannot take this admin at its word, even if they are telling themselves things.
