I forgot it was a trend to gamify not-gaming-related websites.

(Unless, I bought it in this condition? That seems unlikely...)
Anyway, I moved it somewhere else.

(Yes, the Ace cel isn't from the movie)
For those who read the interview, I hope it brightened your day in these trying times.
For the many who didn't click through yet, don't miss out!

For someone who communicates like Dezaki though, I would advise extra scrutiny on the output, if you're going to lean on it at all.

It's a minor thing, but I got a kick out of these initial horizontal credits alternating between descent and ascent.🙂
The end credits also scroll vertically in the opposite direction.😃

"No one could see where it was headed, so out of concern they asked, 'Is it all going to come together?' to which I responded, 'Hell if I know.' (laughs)"

(They would be right not to, since Dezaki doesn't refer to a postcard in his description)
FWIW none of the Black Jack commentary tracks conducted on the JP side (Ep 1, 6, and Movie) touch upon the subject either.

Gulliver no Uchuu Ryokou (Gulliver's Travels Beyond the Moon)
There's a lot of neat things design-wise, but the movie as a whole kinda fell flat for me. Maybe another case of too much musical.
Going to take a break from early Toei Dōga feature films for a bit.

And I sure didn't expect the roller coaster near the end, haha.
No complaints, I had a good time.

Wan Wan Chuushingura (Doggie March)
This is good.
I'm not one for the animal antics normally, but despite being all about the animals, I thought it was great.
The camerawork and directing is a lot better than previous entries.

Arabian Nights: Sindbad no Bouken (Sinbad's Adventures)
Compared to the previous film, I actually thought it was good overall.
Maybe because the presence of the animals feels just ever so slightly lessened? Haha
No, I think some of the camera positioning is better too.

Anju to Zushiou Maru (The Littlest Warrior)
Thought about it for a while, but I think think one of the reasons the early Toei Doga films are kinda boring to me is the camerawork & perspective.
There were one or two shots slightly more interesting in this regard though.

Shounen Sarutobi Sasuke (Magic Boy)
Well, I guess I enjoyed it more than Hakujaden (Panda and the Magic Serpent)...
I like the 3D-ish look of the credits.
I don't have any desire to ever rewatch this besides maybe the climax at the end, which has some nice effects animation.

Waste of time. Watching a play through on YouTube or something would've been pretty much the same experience.
