Calling it the "Democrat Party" is a shibboleth the size of a celestial body
Owen Shroyer tells Ana Kasparian "Now, it feels like Infowars people and Young Turks people have more in common now than they do with the Democrat Party or Republican Party."

Even OpenAI used to do cool things. I remember when they were training a neural network to play Dota 2 via self-reinforcement learning. That was genuinely cool shit!

based on how the companies talk, it's hard not to conclude that conflating the terms is an intentional project by the makers of the slop machines (the same way it's not hard to conclude that "GenAI" was adopted as a term because it's easy to conflate with "AGI")

These are:
● A small but well-founded production by some of the most talented folks in the industry,
● A game that took a solo developer two full years with no pay (and for one of them, he was fully supported by his partner!)
● The most recent game to hit the friendslop roulette (complimentary)

The primary lessons here are that:
1) The Democratic Party had 8 months to find a person who didn't have Nazi tattoos and wasn't 80 years old, and they couldn't do it
2) Dem voters are willing to overlook a mountain of red flags to get anything different than what dems have been offering
I’ve avoided a lot of the Platner discourse because it’s a toxic tarpit, but I think the notion that the lesson here is primarily about either one political faction or something essential about “unvetted” newcomers, sits in some considerable tension with the entire Eric Swalwell experience.

how is anyone supposed to see this and conclude that chuck schumer isn't complicit in the fascist takeover of america
Despite Trump’s best efforts to bully them, the Supreme Court just reaffirmed that if you are born in America, you belong in America.

i'm not saying the democrats wanted to enable this outcome. but i am saying if the democrats DID want to enable this outcome, you'd be hard pressed to find a single choice they would've made differently. they may say otherwise, but only their actions tell the truth.

one would be quite justified in concluding that there is no recourse remaining for preserving America's democracy within the bounds of the electoral process or legal system
BREAKING: In a loss for Democrats, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled the congressional map voters approved last month to counter GOP gerrymanders cannot go into effect.

The decision overturns the will of voters for technical reasons and gives Republicans a leg up for the 2026 midterms.

Mildly unrelated but Flynn is a fucking awful writer

He could say the same thing in a third of the words
On second thought, it’s probably pretty obvious he would go exactly where right wing authoritarian grifters like him always go…aliens, that the gubmint doesn’t want you to know about.

If the goal here was to stop nuclear proliferation, it already has failed: if I was not on friendly terms with the US or their proxies right now and did not currently possess nuclear weapons, I would be moving as fast as possible to develop or acquire them

This isn't science. It's religion with a scientific veneer.
How are these claims falsifiable? It's the ever-looming Second Coming but for people who frequently posture as being "above" religion.
'Godfather of AI' says he's 'glad' to be 77 because the tech probably won't take over the world in his lifetime
