As a Western Michigan alum, I have three points that I think will dictate how this plays out.

“I will fight for Sorbsy’s right to bet on his own football games” is certainly a position to take into a Texas midterm. I wonder how all of the Texans (outside of Lubbock) feel about Paxton actively contributing to the deterioration of competitive integrity in CFB.
NEW: Texas AG Ken Paxton sent a formal letter to Big 12 officials threatening legal action if the conference moves to sanction Texas Tech over its support of QB Brendan Sorsby.

Spent a lot of time today thinking about the takes involving the Darnold-Smith trade -- I know it wasn't technically a trade, but, yes it was -- and man some awfully smart people were awfully wrong. And I kinda think that's great? Sports would be so freaking boring if process always equaled result.
