I grew up watching broadcast TV and commercials were annoying but they never started them in the middle of a sentence. It's nuts what the techbros think is acceptable.

The horse op-ed is an instant classic. I can't tell you how much joy this piece gives me.
It should be taught in every introductory writing class in no small part because the horse arguments are so compelling. "I have noticed that human children get to eat cake. But I am bigger than the children."

Not sure why "Killdozer"(1974) has a cult following. It's pretty boring. It has the same stunt coordinator as Spielberg's "Duel" (1971) but it is so dull. Must read the novella to see what the differences are. Hopefully the KIlldozer kills more than just make weird 70s TV sounds then moves.

Watched TIGER ON THE BEAT (1988) for the first time since the early 90s. The last half hour, especially the final fight, are great. Sadly the rest of the movie did not hold up.
The misogyny was too much to bear. Just start watching at the 58:30 minute mark and save yourself the heartache.
