I've spent the past 10 days in Paris. Not visiting, just living. I think one of the great European summer hacks is to go to these large French cities in August. Hotels are cheap. Restaurants and bars have space. The tourist friendly stuff is still open.

The Odyssey (2026) was limited to 2:52 because if the film was any longer in time, the actual film reel would have been too large for the projector racks.
It's just one example of a trade off they were forced to make for the benefit of a tiny group of people.

The Odyssey (2026) was limited to 2:52 because if the film was any longer in time, the actual film reel would have been too large for the projector racks.
It's just one example of a trade off they were forced to make for the benefit of a tiny group of people.

At an EU Foreign Affairs Committee meeting, Lynn Boylan lamented that it was “a pity we can’t use our own language.” When it was pointed out that she could, in fact, speak Irish, she backtracked almost instantly: "I wasn’t prepared, so I’ll use English."

Watching the Netflix ANTM doc, and I can't help thinking that they're just re-exploiting everyone by effectively putting together a "best of" montage of some of the most messed up stuff Tyra did. "isn't it shocking they thought this was entertainment" says company using same clips for entertainment"

If Israel were merely passive performers in Eurovision things might be different. But their intention and participating is intentionally political, it's a tool of the state. Their act is part of that. And that should not be forgotten. #eurovision
