I think there's still a significant part of America that thinks he is awesome.

Not me, I think he's the worst thing that has happened to this country in 250 years.

But he still has ~30% approval?
I had no idea it would take the American people ten years to realize Donald Trump is completely full of shit.

I thought it was pretty obvious back in 2016.

@yardgoats.bsky.social I purchased tickets for tonight's game - what are my refund options?

@calm.com I'm trying to mellow out. With a paid subscription. Can we just not with the pop up ads?

I love a random, unexpected Dirk Pitt reference.
This brings up a good point: kids these days have an entire industry to serve their mass paperback needs. They’ll never read every Dean Koontz book. They’ll never get to think “huh, this seems weird” when reading about Dirk Pitt’s sexy no-strings-attached congresswoman friend.
I wonder if there’s a kid who saw the James Patterson/Mr Beast book and told his parents to get it because he loves James Patterson

And I'd add that many players making the League minimum don't have long careers. And in fact, earn only a partial season of pay.

Someone like Andres Chaparro has played in parts of 3 seasons and only accumulated 1.002 (1 year and 2 days) in service time.
seeing people argue about how even MLB players making the minimum are making ridiculous $ that means they'd never have to work again and I don't think they realize that (1) no one is paying to watch you at your job and (2) bad MLB players are still in the 99th percentile in the world

#Walmart out to be required by law to lower prices to 15% of the pre-tariff levels until they have sold the appropriate amount of merchandise.
Walmart getting a 2.9 billion dollar tariff refund, that consumers actually paid, should piss everyone off.
Especially since they have been increasing prices incrementally on staples like canned vegetables.

For dessert?
Blueberries and raw milk.
Don't eat the rich. They are disgusting. Instead, feed them.

Give them a banquet of mystery meat and a salad of Taylor Farms greens, jalapenos, and sprouts.

Double helpings.

But someone could put a turbine like that in their yard?
I designed and sold solar systems. I was trained to design and install both wind & solar. We would never advise putting a wind turbine on your roof. It's the vibration and noise it generates when running that gets transferred into the structure. Solar PV panels on the other hand are silent.

Hopefully he's still paddling around in McCovey Cove.
At least they haven’t brought out The Machine - for comedy effect.

"Ass-over-teakettle"

Thank you for making me think of my mom just now.
Never used an ebike, a scooter, or any other mode of rental personal transportation. I question whether I ever will? I live in the city now but my neighborhood has brick streets and I can easily see myself going ass-over-teakettle on one of them things, even if it'd make life easier sometimes.
What mundane token of modern life have you never done? I’ve never had a takeaway delivered.

The only other time the US was so definitively beaten in a war was in Vietnam and that took a decade. America has been brought to its knees in Iran in a little over five months. Just a complete and total strategic defeat and not enough people are acknowledging it.

Breaking News: Iran’s top security official said the Strait of Hormuz would not reopen until the U.S. met a sweeping list of demands, including withdraw the U.S. military from around Iran, pay war reparations and release frozen Iranian assets.

What kind of surgery are they performing on Greene?
Sorry folks for lack of updates. Two canceled flights and had to drive from Cincinnati to Washington. Here is a first story on Greene with more to come.

Also the start of the game at Nationals Park will be delayed by rain. #reds

Depending on where you live, an antenna will get you dozens of channels.
You know what I miss I miss the days that I could just turn on my TV
not pay
and get three different broadcast news options

I’m tired of paying for shit.

I’m tired of having a subscription for shit.

You know what I realize I don’t need any of this shit.

Funny...

That's exactly what is in my end of life directives.
He’s going out exactly how he would have wanted to: his living body but dead brain hooked up to machines and bags of fluid so his rotting flesh can prevent a Democratic governor from choosing his replacement.

But it would not.

The cost of tickets, concessions, etc. is based on the law of supply and demand.

The owners are squeezing every dime out of the fans.
They should try claiming it will bring down the cost of tickets and concessions. At least that lie has some actual public benefit.
