I've been VERY critical of Bungie's mismanagement, angry about the layoffs, sad to see a great game so compromised and frustrated by their community becoming so hostile.
I really, REALLY hope this works out and they can turn it around. Rebuild what was lost.

My thoughts on the Destiny 2 news.

the underlying idea is that transgender is a cognitohazard that forces you to mutilate your body in more and more extreme ways. as such, teenagers must be protected from destroying their beautiful nubile bodies. you'll notice the panic is more intense around the idea of (e.g.) mastectomies
the thing about "trans kids aren't actually getting surgeries" rhetoric is that i'm not sure we should be accepting the idea of trans kids getting surgeries as fundamentally harmful or reckless
