Lots of Ivy blooms out in Sussex too, along with lots of Ivy bees 🐝 zooming around the blooms and the surface of the ground

Today's welcome rain was the most I have recorded in a day since 18th February.
It was a rather wet January and Feb, like 2025.
The first 9 months of 2022 were really dry!

It's a fantastic time of year blossom, bird song, butterflies and sunshine 🌞
Lots of Dingy skipper, Grizzled skipper, Wall brown, Comon and Holly blue at Malling Down.
Nightingale too.
Surprisingly no Painted Lady.

Orange Tips, Small Whites,Large White, Green Hairstreak Red Admiral, Peacock and Speckled Wood.

I'm still astonished by the fact some Hawthorns have berries on from last year and are in bloom almost a month early.
This isn't normal!

Amazing to see so much Hawthorn in bloom already!
Some still have berries from last year! Even some Blackthorn and Dog rose at Knepp have 2025 sloes and rosehips!
Wayfaring in bloom at the same time as Blackthorn peak!
Also apple a d cherry in bloom now.
So advanced and together!

Does anyone know how I can schedule my FoxESS battery to charge from the grid at night when energy is cheapest?
Since the fox app was updated I can't see how to set it to charge at night.
It was easy to set before the update!

Not sure I remember a year when there's been so many Hawthorn berries on the trees as leaf buds are opening!
One with flower buds and a lot of them! Not what I expected after the dry summer and autumn.
