You probably think this is a touch of hyperbole. If you do, that just tells me not only are you not paying attention, you are actively ignoring all the trans people this has happened to.

Now it's gone way beyond that - if I use a female toilet in the workplace I risk being drawn into a public facing employment tribunal, where I'll be hounded by the press have people on the BBC payroll call me a rapist, and have a billionaire lawsuit funded against me that I will lose

I've talked about this before, but it is very hard when you see how moral red lines are drawn, and the complete gutting of trans people's civil rights is entirely within an accepted norm and barely remarked upon even by many progressives.
It's just accepted as normal that the UK hates trans people and that's ok. It doesn't even register as something to be concerned about when most cis people are talking about the state of the country.
Tired.
