Beware the reanalysis -
Eli Lilly’s reanalysis of TRAILBLAZER-ALZ 2 proposes a new method for evaluating amyloid as a surrogate endpoint and argues the resulting high R-squared values are “unlikely to be artificially inflated.”

1) A covariate that is predictive of outcome should be in the model even if unpredictive of assignment (eg matched pairs design).

This was just posted by @tbretc.bsky.social on another platform. The Chicago Sun-Times obviously gets ChatGPT to write a ‘summer reads’ feature almost entirely made up of real authors but completely fake books. What are we coming to?
