Long week of refereeing high school fixtures. Day off today, but refereed 2 varsity matches and assistant refereed a third. Ran/walked just over 15 km over the day. It was stupid hot for all three games, but we got it done.

When you are a high school referee, you kinda kiss your social life away during season - esp. since I referee club and high school ball.
I'm scheduled for five off days over the next six wks apparently. Tho, tbf: 2 of those working days are volleyball the rest are soccer

Today I won 12 whole yankee dollars from the county fair for a poem and a short story.
Two red ribbons... Problem with subjective judging is that it is in fact subjective. a different judge might have blued me across the board.

Women's Lacrosse is one of the more fun sports I've encountered. I'm learning it quickly - eventually, I hope I'm half as good at LAX as I am at soccer.

Last night's lacrosse match was the opposite of "domination but winning 1-0" it was "holy shit this game is closer htan the score board shows" The difference goal keeping made.
Had to send a player off. Some slashing and some cross checking and the tempers were a-flaring.
