“I guess you could call it a church.”

Top story: In his new book, sociologist Harel Shapira reveals how Americans learn far more than simply how to shoot from firearms training centers — they learn a religion of constant fear.
Why Texans Live and Die by the Gun
At the firearms training center, fear becomes the foundation of the state's violent obsession.

You couldn't have planned a campaign to remind the public that Israel is still committing a genocide in a better way than this.
Ms. Rachel:
“I will match Macklemore's donation and I invite every wealthy white celebrity to match it and speak out against the genocide in Gaza.

Over 20,000 precious Palestinian children have been killed and children continue to be killed every day.”

They want to put the marker down that this is how you win elections. (It's going to be a massive blue wave and every one of these bigots would win by affirming trans rights as well.)

Bigots hiding who they are until after a primary is infuriating. Voters are being robbed of the right to make an informed decision.
Holy shit.

Marcy Kaptur becomes the latest Dem to release an anti-trans ad, and its worse than all the rest combined.

"I voted WITH Republicans to keep transgender ideology out of schools, and let me be clear, boys should NOT play in girls sports."

This is getting out of control.

A big reason impeachment and prosecutions are important is because they are the first step in building our way back. It will not fix things. But is the start of working towards better things. The world has to see us repudiate what we did.
This is the part many Americans -- including the Bezosites at the Washington Post -- don't understand. Canadians don't see this just as a Trump thing. It's that America elected him twice, and the second time with an even bigger mandate.

The problem we're addressing is America, not Trump.
"Out of spite for President Donald Trump, Carney is accelerating the decoupling of a trade bloc that has generated enormous prosperity for North America." Seriously, Wapo editorial - you're going with Canadian spite? www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...
