I’ve been playing a lot of #Cairn, by The Game Bakers, the Furi devs. I’m impressed how much my meager rock climbing knowledge directly relates to the gameplay, not to mention how they got the entire interface with no glowing indicators or excess HUD.

If you're a fan of #AceAttorney, just finished fourth case of Gyakuten Live, a fangame based around "Love Live" idols, and it totally floored me. The game doesn't look like much at first, but hides a lot of character depth and unexpected production value beneath simple-looking cases.

The only reason I have not been vocal about the recent murders of innocents by ICE is that I have nothing *calm* and non-instagatory to say. Better people than me have discussed it with level heads, but I don’t think I can.

A few recent livestreams of it reminded me of the intensity of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective's last few chapters. It's a shame to be overlooked for many Ace Attorney fans, when it's often even greater at throwing plot twist after plot twist while condensing it all into a perfect ending.

You may know the Bechdel test, now I have a new one oriented to anime and JRPGs. The Bechstelle test qualifies "parties" (demon hunting club, adventurers, etc) that are lead by a woman, but also have male characters in them. It's surprising how few pieces of media qualify.

@allthe.buzz I found a big ol bee, unmoving, on one of my new flowers outside. Read some advice from this blog, tried gently touching it to warm it, and it seemed pretty receptive, and climbed onto my hand. It finally managed to fly away after a few minutes.

By attacking fishing boats, Trump is likely trying to provoke retaliatory strikes. If anyone shoots back at the US, it puts us "at war", letting him retain power without being checked - just like Netanyahu did.
