apropos of nothing, here's a terrific feature about a meaningful, life-saving use of artificial intelligence, which I have been thinking about for over a year. it's just extremely stupid to say that AI has zero benefits even if you don't think it should be used in writing (which I don't)!

I get why everyone thinks Will Stancil is an idiot masquerading as a smart person now. It's like listening to a younger version of myself who thought people's rejection of my narrowly defined hypotheticals was their fault for not seeing it in the context I so cleverly thought of it in.

I thought it was corruption that made people ignore how fossil fuels, minerals mined by child labor, and deals with autocrats ruin people's lives. It's clear that even intelligent people can ignore these problems when that thing that hurts others is "useful" to them.
