I'm always so impressed by the double-speak of centrist Democrats decrying leftists for "purity tests" when they will dig up anything they can to disqualify a candidate that actually disagrees with the status quo. Right now there are cousins anyone that showed any supported Defund the Police.

I was just in a meeting where my principal just informed us that she doesn't have the necessary things in place for the key piece of an initiative she asked us to implement.
We are in our second year of trying to implement this program.

Hearing Roy Cooper call the attacks on Iran War is aggravating. It should be named more descriptively to remind people that we are the agressorss.

The things missing from the filibuster conversation is that it is valued because the Senate has outsized power in Congress and was never designed to scale up.
When it was 26-30 sensors 2/3 meant flipping 4-5 people to your side, which is leagues easier than flipping the 16 these days

the thing about this is that a) small states do not have any interests that are inherent to their size (no less than james madison understood this) b) the senate is organized along party lines which makes the small/big distinction almost irrelevant and c) the filibuster has never been used this way
Underrated aspect of killing the filibuster is making pundit hacks at Cook Political p-p-p-piss their pants

One of the things that I think about whenever a program is means tested is this:
There was a time when I was fresh out of college and would've qualified for SNAP, but I never finished the application.
The difficulty constantly made me doubt if I should receive the aid that I needed.
