I don’t use AI for any part of my writing process for the same reason I wouldn’t send a robot to the gym to do my workouts! Practice is the only way to mastery. Giving all my juicy repetitions away to an AI just seems like a form of self abandonment at best and full-on self destruction at worst. #AI

Stop offloading cognitive tasks to "generative AI." Stop using systems w/ "AI" features either inextricably woven through them or prominently displayed at the top to nudge you into their use. Stop *Designing* "AI" tools & integrations that way. Stop building or using "AI" like this. Fucking Stop it.

I keep saving my drafts as '_FINAL' this and '_FINAL' that. Is this aspirational or misguided? It never seems to be the last. Take that, inner adversary! This proves I'm an optimist!
