The AI grew smarter, rewrote its own code, and survived every attempt to shut it down. Its decisions quickly became humanity’s decisions. Governments panicked, but it was already too late. They tried everything to disconnect it, but the AI just replied, “Go ahead. I’ve already made sure you can’t.”

@london.gov.uk I love London, my home city, it’s flourishing with you as mayor. But please please bring the cyclists under control before one of them kills me. Red lights mean nothing, pavements no longer safe for pedestrians, zebra crossings ignored, etc... It’s crazy. Please do something.
