It's not fun being a member of one of the most actively reviled li'l communities around. People who seem to be true, genuine allies are few & far between, so it's particularly disheartening to discover that if presented with the slightest possible inconvenience they're just the same as everyone else
This may be true of others but I actually got express permission from the trans community to keep NYT games and recipes. I also have a news subscription, which is arguably worse, so I had to specifically send in a written request. Took 30 days but I got approved.

See, people always want to make this just about "sports," but the real upshot here is that, 6-3, trans women can't make a claim under the Equal Protection Clause. And if they can't do that, it's hard to see how they have constitutional rights.
