Fleischer – another low-life. Pretti's gun was carried in the small of his back. One hand was in the air much of the time; the other hand held a phone. When on the ground, he knelt with his palms on the asphalt. (At least for some of the time). At no time did he reach all the way behind himself.
A whole lot of people who think it's unfair to second-guess the split-second decisions of heavily armed, professional law enforcement agents are nonetheless perfectly willing to dissect whether the civilians killed by those agents followed some mystical proper procedure to avoid death

This was an obvious move to make 2 weeks ago, after Good's murder. That he was allowed to stay and continue to terrorize Minnesotans, leading to Pretti's execution, is inexcusable at both a tactical level and a moral one.
