After he returned
from the grocery store
he grumbled that he
does not know
which is worse:
when the produce
is possibly contaminated,
or when the produce
is too damn expensive;
and so I told him
that neither
is a sign of a healthy society.

To whom it may concern,

Having considered
the sorts of behaviors
(and sorts of beliefs)
that constitute
“being normal”
in our present society,
I have concluded
that it’s not a bad thing
to be deemed abnormal.

We can’t allow this man to get within striking distance of a viable presidential candidacy.
Newsom has vetoed a bill that would have prohibited future governors from handing over abortion providers, helpers, and patients to red states for criminal prosecution. The bill also barred extraditions involving transgender care.

Sometimes a drug trip is a profound experience where you realize that you’ve been carrying pain in your heart for years, that you can forgive yourself. Other times you come up with a concept called “gay money” (money that’s gay) and you text your friend “gay money” days later. Both are healing. ❤️‍🩹

Please note:
the autumnal equinox
happens tonight,
so if you are feeling
like it’s getting dark out,
like it’s getting darker out,
like it’s getting even darker out,
just know
that you are right in multiple ways.

A problem I have about the pervasiveness of GenAI outside of the basic ethical nonstarters is that I…

I don’t want to live in a world where I have to doubt, scrutinize or investigate everything I see that isn’t happening right in front of me.

I find it horrible, exhausting & time consuming.

All you out there raised by the kind of parents who did you dirty for 18 years and then look you square in the face and say "No I didn't, that didn't happen" at Thanksgiving 10 years later are in for some CRAZY deja vu
It’s going to be really funny when this is all over and all these companies are like oh, that hate campaign we ran against you for years? Yeah, we were just kidding

In the last UK census, there were similar numbers of trans people in the UK as there were Jews - both relying on self-declaring.
Anti-semitism is treated (rightly) as a horrendous scourge but somehow transphobia is treated as "legitimate concerns".
Trans people are a slightly LARGER percent of the US population in 2026 than Jewish people were in Germany in 1933.

Assholes who say trans folk aren’t worth defending because of population size are telling us exactly who they would have been in Nazi Germany.

So the universe decided to give us something.

they just haven’t tested

This thread is fucking fire and more able-bodied folk need to read it.

Also: if you think liberals & leftists don't have serious issues with disabled people, you're living under a rock. You know how many "liberal" folk have told me I shouldn't be out in public? Too fucking many.
"Enjoy the camps" is also something that's been said to me, as a disabled person. I've even been called a Useless Eater by liberals (and even leftists). Disabled people were the crack that opened the door to the Holocaust. They were rounded up and either sterilised or murdered. They used our...

We are being so loud not just because we dont want to die but because we know where this leads. And it leads right to you. To dismiss us as selfish is genuinely disgusting. Most of the best activists I know are disabled and/or trans. We see the patterns. You quote that..
