A lot of people are not well right now: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This is an excellent time to de-escalate conflicts and to lean into patience. This is true in our personal lives and also (maybe especially) online when it's overwhelmingly strangers crashing into each other.

Filming and posting people without their permission is inappropriate, but my concern extends to what this means for children in public. Are strangers filming and posting children without consent? The internet is not safe for kids/babies, and it’s not a strangers place to choose that for them…

The most interesting(?) part about the current administration trying to cut back on libraries for spreading misinformation and whatnot is that most of the patrons in my local libraries frequent the nonfiction for bibles and 8/10 parents ask about Christian picture books… is this their target?

This year has been a nonstop war with viruses in our house 🦠
Every week since November 2024 at least 1 of the 3 of us is sick with something, and it feels like we’ve all individually been sick every other week alternating.
