6 months ago my landlord terminated my lease (no reason was given, but it did coincide with the changes to tenant rights) and today I'm moving out.
And I'm moving in with my mum. I've been rejected, or more frequently completely ignored, by every rental I've applied for. It's kinda depressing.

It just breaks my heart that no-one cares about us. A whole group of people who have nowhere else to go, and our civil rights have been stripped and no-one cares or wants to hear it. And the people who hate us spit out poison against us regardless. It's bleak.

PM's office today have tacitly agreed with Kent Police's assessment that the blocking of Dover Port was a "lawful protest".
There's currently no real pressure from anyone in govt, opposition parties or media to arrest masked thugs and their organisers from breaching the peace, disruption etc

It certainly doesn’t mean I’ve not even got the shower yet and I’m unlikely to get there on time lol.
