When @emarcadia.bsky.social pitched this to me I was completely taken by the premise. Republicans constantly attack journalists, universities, scientists and unions, but there's nothing in the rule book that says Democrats can't attack car dealerships, real estate agents, and tech oligarchs.
Car dealers are a reliable and influential power bloc for Republicans. Today on Assigned, @emarcadia.bsky.social writes that Democrats should politicize them and pursue them and other bastions of Republican power as relentlessly as Republicans have pursued the Democratic coalition.
