Just to recap:

Calling Nigel Farage “an unflushable poo” = dehumanising hate speech.

Calling for hotels housing asylum seekers to be set on fire = guest of honour at party conference.

Bless those non-racist free speech warriors.

I see that the Southampton rioters are once again proving to be the kind of decent, law-abiding, women-defending, pleasant stout yeomen of the shire we should be paying attention to.

Nigel Farage’s partner, a former waitress not known to have any private money, bought a £1 million house for cash shortly after he secretly received £5 million from a Thailand-based cryptocurrency billionaire - the same house that he claimed, months previously, that he was about to pay for himself.

Over the years of his unfortunate relevance I have sought in vain to find Nigel Farage defining what he likes about this country - and it’s astonishingly difficult to do – which is weird really because he is without a doubt the most influential and best known English nationalist of our era.

Some fantastic hot takes after the #WhereWereYouWhenYouWereShitDerby last night. Amazed to hear we lost cos of ramadan and not cos we missed some easy chances to, you know, put the ball into the City net

If you want to hear a proper analysis of Jim Ratcliffe's remarks and their current context, this is one of @mrjamesob.bsky.social's best, imo. No punches pulled: we are heading back to the 1970s at lightning speed and it is a terrible prospect.

I agree with Ed.

Jim Ratcliffe is a Billionaire who moved his money away from Britain to avoid paying taxes that would pay for the public services he relies upon.

Accusing others of ‘draining the state’ only draws attention to his own attempts to extract personal wealth and avoid paying his dues.
Totally wrong. Totally out of step with British values. He should apologise now.
