"AI will replace all human labor!"Meanwhile, I just asked an LLM for 150 unique numbers and it proudly handed over 147. Math is hard, I guess.

I have found while experimenting with a.i. agents specialised in coding that, as long as I design a good architecture, they tend to follow it, but they still write redundant code.

While AI delivers genuine value for some tasks, the current hype cycle is out of control.

AI code generators often fall short. They’re brilliant at 'vibecoding' individual functions, but they don't understand your project’s unique business constraints or long-term goals for now at least.

Remember kids, software architecture is deceptive.
You can learn(about) the patterns in a weekend, but mastery takes a decade. True expertise isn't just knowing the 'how,' it’s developing the intuition for how a system will evolve (or decay) over six years, not six months.

would you trust an a.i. model code review and allow it to push to production?

It’s fascinating to watch how AI is changing the dev world, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn't a little bit scary too. We’re watching jobs and workflows transform in real-time. It’s a wild time to be a developer—equal parts exciting and uncertain.

Did you know PHP has introduced the SensitiveParameter attribute?
The parameter is used to hide sensitive data in stacktraces.

What can I say, it's the little things that make a difference

Before adding fancy tech like WebSockets or message queues, ask yourself:
Do I really need this?
Sometimes a simple HTTP request is enough.
Start simple.
Scale when needed.

Have you heard about honeypot captcha?
It was presented to me as this new "modern way" to stop bots from submitting various forms.
Well, since it's only a hidden field that gets filled by "stupid bots," the captcha check fails, but in this AI world, it can be easily beaten. What do you think?

One underrated habit: create a small development guide for every project.

After a break, you won’t remember why you structured things the way you did.

Consistency fades. Written rules don’t.
What do you think?

AI saves me time…
until I spend 10 minutes writing a hyper-detailed prompt
and realize I could’ve just written the function myself.
Tell me I’m not the only one.

Your MVP doesn’t need a distributed microservices architecture or perfect Kubernetes orchestration.

It needs to work — and reach real users.

Good architecture matters.
But timing matters more.

Ship first. Refactor with traction.
Leave room to grow.
