You know, when you find out that the art you like is made by people you've learned hold views you find wholly repugnant, I don't think you need to disavow ever having enjoyed the art. It's okay to acknowledge you liked or loved that art, but are now putting it aside. That was then, this is now.

Maths is 100% not my department, but this critique is blistering and raises problems with the Navier-Stokes equation solution that I had no idea existed, from the news coverage.

Kitty from Cotillion would look amazing in the one on the left.
Hems and sleeves saw all of the action in the early c19th, puffs, rouleaux, appliqués all working hard to draw attention to arm and ankle. In object and print this is evident here, both dating to c1815-20 @museemccordstewart.bsky.social #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡

Handknits fingerless gloves that not only keep your fingers warm, they boost your sense of comfort and wellbeing. (The first function operates regardless of weather conditions; the latter does start to lose efficacy after the first hour of wet, cold hiking. They're magical, not miraculous.)
Money is a thing of the past. All basic needs are taken care of, and if you need something you can't make yourself you find it at the market and take it. All will contribute what they can, when they can, however they are able. What do you bring the communal tables?

I'm absolutely delighted for everyone on all ends of this exchange, because you just know this made *everyone's* day. That cuneiform tablet is now a legit treasure to whoever received it and got to play with it - I mean translate and respond to it.
This Finnish guy has been teaching himself Sumerian, and sent a cuneiform tablet to the British Museum to check his progress.
They just emailed him that they've sent him something in the post.
