I truly, deeply, sincerely do think the guy flipping burgers at McDonalds should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That's kind of the whole point of having a job and I can't believe this is considered a radical position.🤷🏽♀️

Slightly off topic, but I actually got to pet a sturgeon when we went to Shedd Aquarium this summer. Did you know sturgeon actually like being pet (or at least these ones did)? They were swimming over each other to get to our hands. They felt kind of velvety.
Some of my elders could be more than 400 yrs old. They have seen much change in the Great Lakes

Out to breakfast with my husband and the potato pancakes at this place are pancake batter with hash browns mixed in. And I was game at first, but I want different things from my pancakes than I do from my potato pancakes. With every bite my disappointment grows.
