dear god.. a flavor scientist at the Cheetos factory has published a blog post saying no one is prepared for how "dangerously cheesy" they are
OpenAI’s top scientist, in a blog post on Sunday, warns that artificial intelligence is evolving so rapidly that it is becoming increasingly difficult for humans to understand and control it.

You know, honestly, more than monetary donations, if somebody worked at a company that had access to a lot of 18 terabyte and larger hard drives and could talk to us, that's where we are really suffering. The internet archive has no special priority in buying hard drives and those things are insane.
The ongoing 429 errors are due to a variety of infrastructure issues and repairs being done on Wayback. Sorry, folks

Sure, sure, people looked at LLMs and said "wow they can generate code," but the extrapolation from there to "literally replacing 50% of workers" is entirely a result of the cult-like worship of the wealthy and the belief that big money can never be wrong, even though it has been before.
