Colleagues, family, friends on #strike. No blockades, not a single threat of violence.

Unlike the crowd the government rushed to placate in April, and who still haven't claimed a lot of what was given. Because unlike unionised workers, lot of them are not tax compliant and don't play by the rules.

By January the governement will have spent more on giving in to the demands of fuel protestors than they've provided for in pay rises for the whole public sector. ( €1.2 bn )

Apologies to some journalists, but anytime I see something like "Minister X secured an extra amount for this", I just keep thinking "you're not their PR, you can write that differently".

Seriously Toto? Kimi came second. It's hardly up there with Abu Dhabi in 21? Spain in 16?
We need Horner back in F1 immediately. Toto wouldn't have tried this entitled bullshit if he was about

If there's going to be huge disruption when the public sector does only what it is contractually required to, doesn't that prove the point that the system needs to be improved? Nice of Chambers to make our point for us
The public expenditure minister has lashed out at trade unions over the commencement of industrial action.

Jack Chambers's comments come as more than 100,000 public sector workers have begun work to rule amid the dispute over pay and the cost of living jrnl.ie/7180333
Minister accuses trade unions of being 'unwilling to sit down and negotiate'
The Irish National Teachers’ Organisation said a 24-hour strike will be held on 14 October unless government “engages with public service unions in good faith”.

So this has aged like milk. Well done Bokke. They've just got better and better as the series went on while the Kiwis have lost their way
This kind of feels like the changing of the guard at world number 1. SA aging out and looking devoid of ideas and Kiwis looking really sharp and hungry

Look, I think this is as funny as the next guy, but I'm pretty sure he's saying it because he feels the same way about the US and Canada

Nods along in middle aged
The thing I fundamentally cannot grasp about AI -- and maybe it's just a symptom of being firmly Middle Aged -- is that it is simply irrelevant to my day to day life. How/why do people get addicted to it.

Now that everything is AI that works poorly, I've cut down on my phone use. It's great!

Ross going to Munster while Joey has returned to Leinster would be very surreal. Could they not have fitted this out 8 years ago, like?
Personally think Ross is a fine player and could do a great job for Munster.

Sacha Feinberg-Mgomezulu's drop off from 2025 to 2026 has been crazy. He was one of the best players in the world last year, and maybe the worst player on the field today for a second game in a row.
