Well Toyota has done it. Solid state battery. Good for 1200 km. Fast charging. Car looks modern and sleek. Solid state battery much more reliable than lithium.

I got invited to W Social….AND ITS JUST BLUESKY (and/or @mu.social and so on) with extra steps. I don’t get why it’s getting so much attention. I mean, sure, use it if you like, but it’s not any more special than any other AT Proto app.

@dropout.tv I know it was a mistake, but a lot of people have seen the new Game Changer now. Pulling it down from the site is frustrating a lot of fans who are desperately having to dance around spoiler risks. You should say "whoops, oh well" and put it back up.

I am now on @eurosky.social. I'm not going to lie, I thought they'd have their own UI, but it still just uses the same apps, including the bsky.app webapp. That's good, and bad. Good in that the experience is basically seamless, except I now know my data is on EU servers.

I have a friend who said, of Starfleet Academy, that this took them out of it - that seeing a person in a wheelchair in the 32nd century seemed unrealistic, since medicine in Star Trek "should be able to cure whatever was wrong with them."
That's not the case, for any number of possible reasons.

@eurosky.social Here is a simple question. The main thing I want from Blue Sky is auto-delating posts. There is simply nothing I want to say on social that needs to last longer than maybe 2 weeks. It's the reason I use Mastodon mostly.

@jessiegender.bsky.social In your episode 2 review of Academy, you referred to the Betazoid ambassador as mute. After 4 years of ASL studies and socialising with the Deaf community, I can say that using "mute" for the Deaf is a very sore point. They can talk, just not vocally (at least not all).
