🇺🇸🇮🇷🇨🇳 WSJ: U.S. officials say Iran obtained high-resolution satellite imagery from Chinese entities before a July 17 ballistic-missile strike on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan that killed 3 US soldiers and wounded four others.

They have not accused the Chinese government of directly taking part.

No peace agreements regarding the war in Ukraine are expected in the near future. Putin’s position has hardened further, and he believes he is winning the war.

For now, the options for ending the war appear to be Putin’s death or direct intervention by China to stop it.

Canadian PM Mark Carney:

I’ve met Putin in the past, multiple times. He only understands strength and directness.

And the message would be simple: get out of Ukraine, give back all of Ukraine to Ukraine, end this war, which is killing more than 30,000 of your people every single month.

I’m beginning to suspect that wasting years dragging feet on military aid to Ukraine and playing escalation management games, giving an aggressive militaristic Russia the time and resources to ramp up its war machine to full power against the free world, might not have been the brightest idea.

Trump promises "TREMENDOUS Economic Consequences" to ANY country economically helping Iran. Or course though Russia is exempt from any consequences because Russia is Trump's favorite country in the world and Russia can help Iran kill as many American soldiers as they like.

Here’s an idea: give Ukraine the license to make patriots and some patriots. After they’re making them they can send new ones back to us if we still need.

Inexcusable to be short on interceptors and not allow greater manufacturing

It’s a sin

The so called "Human Rights Watch" intervenes, trying to stop Turkiye from selling its stock of old weapons/shells to Ukraine.

I'm no fan of cluster munitions, but it's noticeable how often @hrw.org says things Russia likes. To really protect human rights, tell Russia to leave Ukraine. Period.

Lindsey Graham was not a particularly strong supporter of Ukraine. He made all the right noises, but ultimately he mostly just contributed to keeping pro-Ukrainian Republicans quiet. He gave them an illusion to cling to, that any moment now Trump will finally get tough on Putin.

Today, I'll post exactly what I did a year ago.

Let's remember Tigran Hovhannisyan of occupied Berdiansk, who will be forever 16.

It's 3 years to the day since he effectively took his own life rather than face torture from Russia's invaders who stole his homeland.
