Two weeks ago I asked the Vancouver Police Department and Downtown Business Improvement Association for a breakdown of the $1.4 and $1.25 million that city council gave them for seven more weeks of a car free Granville strip.

If the Vancouver police can’t explain why they need an extra $200,000 a week on top of their $497 million budget to police five blocks of car free activities, then I can make videos pointing out how much that works out to every hour for every block.
